2024年4月22日 · The selector valve was still on the truck when I got it but frozen up so I changed it out with one that has a solenoid and does it automatically when the other tank is selected. I'm going to be adding an in cab tank as the main tank though and found a diagram of the setup and located the parts shown for it through Dennis Carpenter.

2015年10月30日 · Basically the fuel is drawn from the tank by an electric fuel pump which pressurizes the fuel being delivered tot he filter housing on top of the engine. The fuel then passes through the filter to the rails and injectors. Excess fuel is returned to the fuel tank through the fuel pressure regulator located on the fuel filter bowl.

2018年3月22日 · I have checked the pickup tube in the tank and checked the lines on the tank. There all good. I changed the fuel line and fuel filter in the engine bay. I have put a new carburetor on it, changed the spark plugs. Brought the number 1 cylinder up to top dead center and set the timing. Adjusted the curb idle set screw on the carburetor.

2022年2月18日 · -the front tank does exhibit some same issues as the rear but on a scale of 1 to 10 it’s a 2, very little-the rear tank does run from the get go but varies in duration before trouble.last night I drove with a full rear tank from Miami to home no issues.-so the new rear fuel pump I believe is good-the rear tank was checked and is clean from debris

1967/72 F100/350 with optional 25 gallon auxiliary fuel tank has a manual control fuel tank selector valve located on the drivers side of the floor adjacent to the seat. The selector switch located under the dash to the left of the steering column only changes the dash fuel gauge from one tank to the other.

2017年12月20日 · 5.0 the previous owner had removed the front tank. All the old fuel line are still there but the O-Rings look dried out, and I know there is replacements but it’s kinda expensive. As long as I’m replacing the TANK, FUEL PUMP AND SENDER, I really don’t care about a QUICK release fuel line.
