2007年7月23日 · There's 2 14/2s coming into a 1/2" KO, the wires are already in, I can't get a regular plastic romex connector around them. The inspector told me they make one that goes on from the inside over the existing wires, but I've never seen it. The regular plastic "push-in" rom conn probably won't work.

2003年9月15日 · Re: romex wires into a service panel We have established in previous posts that there is a two NM limit per NM connector. It is my belief that NM must be clamped at the panel. I always clamp NM and limit them to 2 NM's per. My supervisor in 1994 used a 2" connector to bring all circuits into a panel. All work was inspected, but he never got gigged.

2006年9月8日 · Is there a WP connector for Romex. Wasn't planning on running UF cable as the Romex will not be exposed to sunlight, etc. - as it is buried behind the box. I've been solely commercial, until just recently - so I'm still learning the differences in methodology and materials in commercial versus residential.

2022年11月12日 · How many 12/2 NM cables can you run through a 2 inch Romex connector? I always ran two per 1/2” KO but recently had a few scenarios with a recessed load center and old wires that were all on one side of the bay and weren’t long enough to spread across the top of panel so I started using larger connectors and jamming them in one hole.

2005年7月26日 · Re: SER connector I use the regular 2", 2 screw romex connector installed backwards (locknut on the outside of the box) when I need to get 200 amp SER inside a 2x4 wall. I know some of my guys use a 2" blue snap in bushing. This protects from abrasion, but provides no clamping. Yes, this is an area that sure could use a new product solution.

2006年10月22日 · I can't imagine that a steel Romex connector would have less mechanical strength than the near useless flaps in a nonmetallic box, so I don't see an issue there. 110.3(A)(5) says to take into consideration heating effects. . 334.80 says that Romex has a 90? rating which would be 14gauge=25a 12gauge=30a. .

I just grabbed a catalog the other day and kept saying "I knew there was a better way" Those coach light "medallions" with the built in pan box are awesome for vinyl siding.
