So, this happened…. I took the NCEES PE Power Exam and failed for the 3rd time in a 1-year period. This after studying for more than 6 months, taking an awesome review course, doing the NCEES’ review test and scoring above 90%, taking the test last January 19 and coming out of the test convinced I passed. Yet today I get another ‘FAIL’.

2023年5月22日 · Best advice is probably submitting your experience through NCEES, and getting critiqued by a review, and then dump your experience write up into Chat-gpt and the review critiques and you should get a good sense of the changes you should make.

Mostly was questions within Mathematics and Mechanics of Mat’l portion. I truly underestimated the math portion and sort threw me off rhythm.

2016年8月26日 · NCEES is currently holding a meeting so hopefully someone can talk some sense into them. I refuse to believe that an organization run by engineers would think this system was acceptable. The only good news is, once setup, the new records system is better than the old one and doesn't have a yearly fee.

2021年12月29日 · Definitely take the NCEES practice exam. The FS was more math intensive and the PS was geared towards the practice of surveying. The only math problem I remember from the PS was a horizontal curve staking problem. There were several problems on floodplains and elevation certificates.
