In Muslim tradition, al-Khiḍr is widely known as the spiritual guide of Moses and Alexander the Great, a wali (saint), a prophet, and one of four immortals along with Enoch (Idris), Jesus, and Elijah.

2015年12月22日 · In ancient Islamic legend, there exists the wonderful, contrary figure of Al-Khiḍr, an immortal prophet who kills a youth out of mercy and who scuttles a boat of some travelers to deny the greed of a king. He is described as God’s special servant, a protector, trickster, saint, and mystic, who has been identified with various ancient deities.

Khidr, Khizr, Khezr or Hizir – all point to a legendary figure who is said to have discovered the “Water-of-Life” (i.e. Spirit / Pure Consciousness) and is considered an eternal prophet. Coleman Barks informs us: Khidr is connected philologically with Elijah and with Utnapishtim of the Gilgamesh epic.

2020年12月29日 · Allah says in the Quran that He blessed him with a certain type of knowledge. This story is in the 18 th surah of the Quran, Surah al-Kahf. In the story, Musa (AS), by chance, meets this wise man. Then, Khidr does things that Musa (AS) finds objectionable. However, Musa (AS) doesn’t realize the deep wisdom behind his actions.

Khidr (Allah bless him) is an individual mentioned extensively in surah al-Kahf of the Qur’an as a companion of our liege-lord Musa (Allah bless him).

Al-Khidr is the righteous servant mentioned by Almighty Allah in the Glorious Qur’an in Surat Al-Kahf whom Prophet Musa (peace and blessings be upon him) accompanied and learnt from him.
