2021年6月25日 · I'm another older rider with the exact same history (dirt bikes and road bikes owned years back) and I just bought a Versys 300x just 3 weeks ago. I absolutely would say it was the right choice for me. As I'm not able to deal with a 500-800 pound bike anymore and the 300x is only 386 pounds and feels light.

2023年11月4日 · The Versys 300 was not stable through these same sections. To add to this comparison, the Versys 300 has Shinko 804/805 knobbies and the 390 has stock tires, which are TKC70s. I've ridden a Super Tenere 1200 with Shinko 804/805s through many deep sand miles and it was very stable, so I can't blame the Versys 300 performance on that tire selection.

2021年7月12日 · Yesterday after reading some intel here I purchased a top of the line Sylvania Ultra Halogen bulb and put it in the Versys 300x and it made a difference as expected. The Kawasaki factory bulb is the lowest cost cheapest thing I've ever seen. There is a better output of light for sure in the Sylvania Bulb. Good use of $29.
