2024年4月2日 · Insert B into C and tighten. Hold part C with a spanner and tighten B with Allen wrench until the flange on C spreads and tightens on the clamp housing. Remove A and B discard them. You should now have a fixed nut in the clamp. The bit that is left on your original handle looks like the flange from the nut. Hope this explains it 😱. Am I serious?

2021年4月23日 · It could well be the clamp pin which has bent (see the pin in the OP his is bent as you can see), this then prevents the clamp from gripping the jockey wheel down-tube before the clamp screw buttons out. Remove the pin (there is a spring clip reached from underneath and it should wriggle upwards then and out).

If you have trouble tightening and un-tightening, then it is the clamp itself. Not sure how yours is attached to the A frame but mine is bolted similar to THIS you need to remove jockey wheel as above and replace clamp and refit new jockey wheel assembly. 2013年6月5日 · In most cases wd40 and repeatedly screwing it in and out will eventually work it out, in really bad cases just slacken it enough to remove the whole jockey wheel and then you can lift out the little striker plate.
