2022年8月3日 · Funimation will be making changes to the Crunchyroll website and apps user interface, and other changes as well. Funimation will continue to have their apps and website up and running until all content is transferred over and will make an announcement when the platforms will be fazed out.

2024年2月9日 · A while ago, when AnimeLab merged into Funimation, I subscribed to Funimation with the premium plan in order to rewatch the shows that were moved over from AnimeLab when they shut, and I very well knew by then that Funimation was going to move to Crunchyroll and as they said, “Funimation’s library will move to Crunchyroll”.

2021年9月6日 · I have a Windows computer connected to my TV but also a Firestick and an Xbox which I will switch over to so I can use the Funimation app which still kind of sucks. I am to understand Windows 11 will have built in support for certain Android apps in the near future so I think that might be worth looking into when the time comes.

2021年1月14日 · App constantly crashing I downloaded funimation after not using it since June and I’ve been having problems with it now that I didn’t before. It just crashes as soon as I open the app, I feel like its because I turned bluetooth and local network off so they won’t see information and they’re fucking me over if I don’t have those on ...

2020年9月16日 · Updated to iOS 14, tried opening the Funimation app, and after the little jingle the app crashes. Hopefully they fix it soon and add picture and picture support while they are at it.

On the ps4, and iPhone Funimation was always 100%. Never had problems. Unfortunate that you had issues. Yah I figured when crunchyroll absorbed Funimation. They would just use Funimation app, reskinned as crunchyroll. For a long time CR wouldn’t even be able to play an episode. It would go to 240P resolution and so much stutter.

2022年3月21日 · The Funi app will probably be gone by year's end, though I don't think they'll kill it in the immediate future. For now I'm keeping the Funi app, because there's still a large amount of anime that still hasn't been shifted over (including several current simulcasts).

So I've been trying to get the same app that I've had on my Windows 10 laptop for years installed on my desktop but any time I try to install, it now says that the only compatible system is Xbox one. Is there a reason we can't install it on PC anymore? It still runs perfectly fine on my laptop.
