Speed was adequate but I felt safest keeping the throttle in the 80-100% range. My entry into the landing pattern was large and gradual and the F-86 slid down the glide slope smoothly as I slowly eased the power back.

Here's my take on the F-86 ducting if you want retracts and a roomy fuse for batts & electronics. Flatten the duct as soon as you can into an oval. Taking up as much lateral space as you can.

(I do advise in getting a capable friend to hand launch it for you on the first flight or two though).The low wing design of the F-86 makes it a little more difficult to launch it overhand style, in my opinion, although it can be done.
