2024年5月9日 · Been doing some research and it seems like both EGW and Extreme Engineering make good ignition kits for the 2011 platform. Which would you guys prefer? Looking to get about a 2-2.5# crisp trigger pull. Maybe adjust the sear spring to sub 2# after a bit of seat time.

2024年5月19日 · I installed the egw lightened hammer kit for the prodigy last year and starting to experience some light strikes that fail to fire. I'm assuming I went with the 17 lb main spring but my order history from shooters doesn't specify which spring it came with. The mainspring is definitely lighter than the factory.

2024年3月26日 · The 'stock' 12lb EGW spring has likely taken a 'set' already as it probably has 400-500rnds through it by this point. Cutting springs is fine, but one should invest in a method to measure the spring rate to make sure you aren't getting some wild number - cutting a spring makes it heavier - not lighter.

2019年3月4日 · Don't go crazy tuning the "hook". The less you fiddle with the EGW HD the better. Just break the sharp edge on the lead in. Also, barely round the bottom edge of the hook. It comes from EGW pretty square. You just want to BARELY round it. A good needle file is the perfect tool for both of these tasks.
