2020年6月24日 · Looking to add either a Colt MK18 10.3" upper or Colt Commando 11.5" upper to my M16A1 when it gets out of jail. My primary upper which will be on the gun more is a 14.5" SOCOM HB. I have read up about better dwell times on the longer 11.5" and less finicky on ammo (though that seems to be disputed by many).

Haven't seen many 10.3" Mk18 Mod 0/CQBR barrels but on the Mk18 Mod 1/URG, those 10.3" Govt profile bbls were all cut down Colt 14.5" by Crane. While I haven't seen every single barrel, I've seen enough NSW, SF and MARSOC ones and all cut down. Ever single replacement barrel was cut down. Attached File Attached File CD

Features factory Colt Crane-spec 10.3" barrel with .070 gas port (CAGE-code marked), and original Colt BCG with Crane extractor O-ring. Both the carrier and bolt are C-stamped.

2022年4月22日 · The Mk18 (upper) is a beast (the Elcan has since been swapped for a T2)...I've got a Colt 6933'ish (upper) SBR and hands down the DD is far superior. The Colt has since had a DD 9.0 (FF) rail and H3 (buffer) installed, the DD/KAC has the same, and for whatever reason, the DD feels so much smoother insofar as recoil goes...kinda hard to explain ...
