With over 400 members nationally and internationally the Association represents extensive expertise in the field of medical transport.

The AMPA fellowship program and the corresponding FAMPA designation were introduced in 2019 to recognize AMPA members who have made noteworthy contributions to the association and the specialty of air and critical care transport medicine.

2021年4月9日 · The Air Medical Physician Association (AMPA) recognizes the need for continued innovation and research in the air medical, critical care transport, and EMS communities. In response, AMPA has created and allocated funding for the Air Medical Physician Seed Grant Research Program.
