If I remember that thread correctly, the Track 2.0 was the most accurate barrel Molon had tested other than the Colt 14.5 SOCOM profile. He was getting sub 0.5 MOA with the Track 2.0 16 inch. Edit* Correction, the Track 2.0 beat out the Colt SOCOM barrel by a small margin.

2022年10月4日 · Two mid-length 5.56 builds with very similar performance. A few thoughts: TRIARC vs Criterion: a couple of years ago, this was a hot question. IME these are equally fantastic barrels. Accurate, light, well-balanced, and perfectly gassed. Sub-MOA with IMI 77gr. Thousands of rounds between without issue. Any differences are beyond my skill level.

2013年10月21日 · Compare your 12.5" TRIARC barrel to a 14.5" barrel that also has single edge polygonal rifling like the TRIARC barrel does, both without suppressors. The type of rifling found on the TRIARC Track 2.0 barrel is rather unique for AR-15 barrels.

2022年8月21日 · Off the top of my head, the closest in accuracy for a sub-two pound barrel to the TRIARC was the 14.5" Colt M4A1 SOCOM barrel. The M4A1 weighs two ounces more than the 16" TRIARC Track 2.0 and was slightly less accurate than the TRIARC barrel.

2020年3月21日 · Either barrel will last so long you will have spent many barrels worth of dollars in ammo when either wears out. So it really does not matter how long it will last. If 500 yard target shooting is your thing, the BCM will last only 5-10 rounds... that I can tell you from experience.

2021年6月28日 · Triarc track barrels are fantastic. Durable for hard use and accurate. Haven't tried Criterion though I've heard good things. I have Criterion hybrid in 12.5 and 20, and just ordered the 12.5 mid length Triarc track 2.0. I will post a comparison at some point. My Criterions are very accurate, about as accurate as my Colt M4A1.

I’m looking to cut a barrel down to 13.9 (cause that’s the new hotness), I’ve got a triarc 14.5 track 2.0 and a DD 16in mid-length. I’m going to cut one but need advice on which would be a better choice. My main goals are accuracy and longevity.
