Shitennou (四天王; meaning "Four Heavenly Kings") are characters in Sailor Moon Crystal. The Shitennou are four loyal and faithfully devoted generals and bodyguards of Prince Endymion. Each member was named after a different stone.

Jadeite is the first of the Four Heavenly Kings to be introduced in Sailor Moon Crystal. He is in love with Rei Hino / Sailor Mars (Crystal). Jadeite had short pale blonde hair and grey eyes.

Jadeite and nephrite are two varieties of jade; zoisite's other name is blue tanzanite; and kunzite is a type of spodumene.

All four Kings of the Dark Kingdom known as the Shitennou appear to Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars to introduce themselves as servants of the Great Ruler. Kunzite, Zoisite , Nephrite and Jadeite inform the Sailor Guardians they want the Silver Crystal so the Sailors and the whole world will bow down before their Great Ruler.

Shitennou, or Four Heavenly Kings –and the significance of their titles. So going down the list we have Nephrite. Nephrite: Knight of Intelligence (Wisdom) and comfort. When I say the word Intelligence or Wisdom, I’m not talking about books in this case.

In Sailor Moon Crystal, the "Four Heavenly Kings" are kept alive beyond their deaths in the manga. They rediscover their past lives but are once again brainwashed by Beryl. During the final battle, Venus reveals that the Sailor Guardians and the Four Heavenly Kings were originally lovers much like Serenity and Endymion respectively.
