2010年3月11日 · I had a very successful Heller's myotomy (without fundoplication) 2-1/2 months ago. My surgeon does not believe in the fundoplication as you are closing what you have already opened and his method certainly worked for me. I can eat and drink anything I want and I stopped taking the ppi 2 weeks ago with no acid problems.

The surgeon said the surgery went well, and after 2 nights in the hospital I was discharged. I'm confused about diet because the surgeon and hospital staff said that I could resume a normal diet as soon as I got home.

Two surgeons from our practice performed 43279,43659-51 The assistant surgeon was pd for 43279 but not for the unlisted 43659-51.

Had laparoscopic heller myotomy + fundoplication 2 weeks ago. Also on a side note doctors put me on a liquid/puree diet for 2 weeks after surgery, but id say 3 days before the 2 week mark I tried ground beef and some fish later that night.
