Ape is the tritagonist of Disney's George of the Jungle and George of the Jungle 2. He's George's intelligent, well-educated best friend and adoptive brother. He was voiced by John Cleese.

Ape the Ape is George's Best Friend. Ape has tan skin and gray fur. He has a noticeably large upper body, with visibly diminished lower legs. He has a small tuft of brown hair on the top of his head. Ape is openly intellegent, easily excelling that of George in both mental and social skills.
