2011年7月11日 · As a fairly new lifter, I'm starting to run into my grip limits when it comes to deadlift. I thought I had decently strong hands (can rep #1 CoC) but I guess not. I'm hitting my limit at about 225lbs for double overhand grip. I can only get about 5 reps of this before my grip completely fails.

2010年9月8日 · Hi Guys, I'm currently doing Starting Strength. I tried deadlifting 225lbs and I couldn't do more than 3 reps because of my grip. Do you recommend strengthening my grip and continue not using straps which will not allow me to do max weight, or should I use straps which will enable me to do max weight?

2003年1月24日 · For me, for whatever reason i can't use a regular grip- i find i lift the most and achieve best stability with hands practically side-by-side (i.e., like 3'' gap apart) What's your deadlift grip like?

2014年12月13日 · I've been doing deadlifts in a pyramid for the last tree weeks and it's been pretty awesome but, I feel like my grip strength is the weak link in this exercise. I was thinking about holding the bar during the last deadlift rep to strengthen my forearm worn on my grip.

2019年5月6日 · I thought I had decent grip strength before I started to do deadlifts. Turns out, not so great. I regularly use hand grippers/crushers and twist roller for grip strength. I spend a lot of time on pull ups and can hang from a bar for around 2 minutes max. I also hang from the bar for 3 sets of 1 minute every day.
