2018年1月10日 · Bulbophyllum graveolens is native to New Guinea. This orchid was discovered in the Central Province of Papua New Guinea. Although it is quite rare, it was met in dispersed locations in Papua New Guinea, south of the central mountain range.

Found in New Guinea in rainforests on tree trunks at elevations of 100 to 600 meters as a very large, single leafed epiphyte that has an erect to arching, 9"+ [23 cm] long, slender, bracteate inflorescence which has an apical umbell of many [8 to 9] long-lasting flowers that are held below the leaves occcuring in the fall.
