2005年11月2日 · In the last week or so I’ve noticed a new plywood product at the Home Depot – Sandeply – it’s 9 plys, 3/4″ thick, triple sanded and said to be good for painting and staining. It only costs $29 a sheet, that’s pretty nice compared to the $45 I’m paying for Birch ply now! Question is, anybody using this stuff?

The external appearance may be good but the interior plies just trash.
A Good Plywood At Home Depot - Sawmill Creek
2015年2月3日 · HD plywood is often "trashed" here and for good reason. Not this time I am building a 60" floating vanity and needed some carcase plywood. Home Depot had a lumber core 3/4" plywood. It was three ply with a surface veneer of about 1/16" covering the lumber core on each side. I bought two sheets and I was very pleased.
Can I use pcket holes with 1/2" plywood? - Sawmill Creek
2010年7月6日 · I used the small kreg jig jr. in walnut that was planed down to just a hair under a half inch. Prepping plywood for paint - Sawmill Creek
2010年12月23日 · I'm getting ready to build some cabinets and book cases from birch plywood. I'll be painting them white. This is supposed to keep those little wood fibers from sticking up through the paint.

2019年7月20日 · If you go to my post “I now get paid to play with tools...” I’m building 56 arched doors. I cut the arch on the bandsaw with a simple jig- plywood with a screw at the pivot point. It helps to have a massive 3-phase bandsaw with insane inertia that plows through anything. It takes literally less than a minute per arch.

2018年12月31日 · I am about to start a built-in project for my home office and will need to make some paint-grade bookshelves about 30 inches wide and 5 feet tall. I went to HomeDepot looking for 3/4 birch plywood and they were completely out. They did have a huge stack of "radiata pine plywood" which looked pretty good and had 9 cores which appeared void-free.
