2022年11月28日 · Jalen Brunson is really good When he signed a 104/4 contract (descending btw), a lot of people flamed it for being an overpay, even though it was clear he was much better when he was allowed to do more: 20 and 8 on 49% from the field in 17 games without Luka last year and then y’all saw what he did in the Playoffs.

But, Jalen Brunson drives to the cup over 29 times a game on average (the only other players that drive at a higher rate are Luka and SGA). He’s the main offensive creator on this Knicks team, and he doesn’t have the benefit of having another shot creator by his side to make offense.

Brunson also is a playoff riser with his 2nd straight strong postseason and had a much better playoffs than Fox and Mitchell and arguably top 5 postseason in the NBA this season. Considering Brunson is only 26, this is his first year leading a team and that he’s averaged 28 PPG in 2023 including the playoffs.
