Madhur Jaffrey has been writing cookbooks for more than 40 years. Many of them, including 1973's "An Invitation to Indian Cooking" and 2010's "At Home with Madhur Jaffrey," are deserved classics.

Madhur Jaffrey is the author of many previous cookbooks — six of which have won the James Beard Award — and was named to the Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America by the James Beard Foundation.
