Upcoming closures from March 28 to 30 on the A12 and Dartford Crossing may affect some drivers across Essex this weekend.

There are a number of closures Essex drivers should be aware of this weekend, according to National Highways England. Essex's main roads, such as the A12, M25 and Dartford Crossing, will be affected.

Officers attended the Ardleigh interchange in Colchester on Saturday to shut the slip road which connects Ipswich Road to Newcomen Way and the A12.

Delays on the A12 have cleared following a crash. Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash on the A12 northbound near the Foxhall Road roundabout at around 12.30pm on Saturday.
