The flowers, which bloom in summer and fall, are small and star-shaped with five white petals that emit a sweet fragrance.

Unlike star jasmine, the blooms on winter jasmine are not fragrant, sadly, but it doesn't diminish how special this plant is. Anything that flowers in the dead of winter is a star to me!
