A POPULAR German beer festival is returning to Colchester later this year as it celebrates a milestone anniversary. Oktoberfest will be back in Lower Castle Park on October 3 and October 4.

Admission to the tents is free, reservations can be made on the festival tents' websites. In addition, a wheat beer garden invites you to enjoy a beer with Bavarian delicacies in fine weather.
