Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?I love the procedural aspect of GI. I was an engineering major in college and have always enjoyed things that are more “hands-on.” I also like that it has a nice balance of both inpatient and outpatient work.Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?I really enjoyed working with inflammatory bowel disease patients while in fellowship and hope to carry that over while I am in practice.Where did you study?Undergrad: Duke University, Medical School: University of IL, Internal Medicine Residency: Medical College of Wisconsin, GI Fellowship: Baylor University Medical Center.What certifications do you hold?Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
