Hi there, I am looking for somewhere safe to walk my little dogs because I have heard of the coyote problem in Calgary. This park is surrounded by water so I hope this makes it unlikely they are living there. Are there any coyote in this park?

No coyote in this park. It is in Downtown area and it is beautiful to walk around. It is cold so check the weather (for you) to dress properly.

As Nikky said, the park itself is public and free. Free parking downtown is practically non-existent. That parking lot Nikky mentioned on Memorial Drive is also a pay lot. You could try to find a free curb-side spot in the Sunnyside neighbourhood, but you'll be competing with everyone else that has the same idea.
