Hello! I was advised to skip Pena Palace (due to the crowds *_*) So, I am thinking of adding Monserrate palace in addition to the Quinta de Regaileira. Its quite a distance to the house down a steep valley through stunning gardens, however there is a hop on hop off buggy thing that takes you if you don’t want to walk . The house itself isn’t that big you could probably go round in an hour . I was there longer because i was enjoying the gardens which are idyllic - think garden of eden.

Hello Rafael Most of these types of monuments that became attractions were not built with the needs of people with physical disabilities or parents with small children in mind. So if you're in good shape and can easily and safely manage stairs, steep and uneven inclines with the additional weight and bulkiness of a stroller plus child then go for it. If you chose to travel to Europe with a small child then you will need to get used to it as this will be a recurring issue for you. If you have a stroller with wheels that are more like an offroad type other than the smaller traditional wheel then that might help a bit. But ultimately if a babysitter is an affordable option and if you and your significant other will not be thinking "is my baby ok" then entire time then leave the child in capable hands and go have an adults only date and explore at your leisure. Alternatively there's a circular route bus that drops off and picks up from Monserrate back to Sintra's railway station where a change of bus is required to get to Cabo de Roca.
