One of my travel companions climbed it and she had arthroscopic knee surgery two weeks before we left! The climb up was not difficult. On the way down, she had to turn around a go down backwards for small stretches. The ground was somewhat wet too. If it hadn't rained recently, it would have been very easy. I am almost sixty and quite out of shape and I did it. Have a great trip

Hi -- I agree with QGJohn. I did encounter some families but the children appeared around 10 and older. I think it would be rather exhausting for the 4 yr. old but if you are ok with lots of stops/rests, you could probably do it. You will need to keep a close eye on them though because of the gravel and steepness in some areas. If it's raining, double-that.
