I am soooooo disappointed! I work in a jail in NJ and my Husband and I are celebrating our 42nd anniversary in Jim Thorpe (Staying at the Inn) sept 5-6! Just found out you are only open on weekends nowAre we able to still walk around the grounds?

We are coming in June... How much time should we plan to visit and tour the jail? How long is the tour itself, and how much else is there to do before/after the tour? Is planning 1 hour enough? Or should I plan that we have 2-3 hours there? Thanks!

Allow about an hour for the jail tour. Check hours/dates open, as they are closed for long stretches. In the town, plenty of funky shopping opportunities & decent restaurants. Hiking/biking …
