Based on the guide we had on the Hopi reservation, I almost doubt it. But I would call someone with the tribal govt. and ask. The worst that can happen is you'll be told, no.
What is the best airport to fly to? did you have to book the guide long in advance or are they available on days notice?

Phoenix, AZ has the Phoenix International Airport (PHX) which is about 4.5 Hours driving time from Second Mesa, AZ. Flagstaff, AZ has a regional airport and is about 1hr 45 minutes from Second Mesa via Winslow, AZ. Both airports have car rental locations inside their terminals. Hopi Tours offers weekend Saturday or Sunday tours (full or half day) and only evening petroglyph tours on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Please reserve a week in advance via email.
We have tried to reach this guide for many days.....how long did it take him to get back to you?

Hello, I called a local hotel to see about how to get into Blue Canyon and was told it is closed and no tours are possible. Through them I was able to confirm the same information with the (not very pleasant) representative of the Hopi tribe's Office of Revenue, Danny Honanie. He was actually downright mean. Further, I paid a visit to the outpost in Tuba City and spoke to the elderly gentleman working there who have much experience with the area and he assured me that if we went into Blue Canyon and were caught, we would be arrested and our vehicle impounded, so we didn't try it. Thanks for your help.
