Expect cold but if you're from MN you may not think it's so bad! The US side is very tacky and commercial compared to the Canadian side where the views of.the falls are better. …

Expect cold but if you're from MN you may not think it's so bad! The US side is very tacky and commercial compared to the Canadian side where the views of.the falls are better. Parking on the US side is expensive. There are beautiful gardens on the CA side. There may be a wait at the border crossing. Hope this helps.

Honestly we drove our car to the Fort. However the entrance to the park is quite a distance from the Fort.
