Take thick clothes with you and jacket in back bag the weather is changeable during the day and night.
We are planning on driving to Aquila ourselves for a half day/full day trip (currently undecided). However, can anyone please recommend what the best time for safari is? When animals may be more likely to be out? We have the choice of 10am, 1:30pm or 4pm. Many Thanks

It all depends on yoyr likes. This is not the Kruger National Park where it may take you a few days to see all the animals. There are limited animals and the guides usually know exactly where the different species are. So in my opinion one night should be sufficient if you arrive early enough to do an activity (either horse riding or quad biking) then have lunch and check in all prior to an afternoon game drive. When you return from the game drive you can still relax by the pool or enjoy the spa before dinner and then then off to bed. You also have the chance to get an early morning game drive prior to breakfast after which you xan still make use of the spa and other activities before you leave. However if you have time on your hands and you are a laid back person you can obviously take two days in which to do all the above. The choice is yours. Enjoy Aquila. It is really worth it.
