This was a great place to visit. Both kids and adults truly enjoyed the exhibit and learned a lot about some wildlife. It's well worth the visit!Mare B的完整评论

My eleven year old grandson absolutely loved this place! There is so much to see. I enjoyed the rookery, watching the spoonbills and ibis carrying sticks and building nests. The gators are plentiful …AT-Donna的完整评论

There are a lot of gators here. The white one was pretty cool. We have lots of gators in South Carolina but seeing this many all together was fun.bmbaird62的完整评论
I would say 3 hours if you have limited time. But check what time are the feedings, you definitely want to see that. You can walk to the lighthouse afterwards too.
does this place have the the horrible "shows" with people putting their head, arms, etc. in the alligator mouths or is this more of a zoo intended for education and preservation? thanks!

Hello, I am a photographer and am interested in visiting the Alligator Farm. My question is how accessible the animals and birds are to photograph....meaning would I be shooting through fences or other obstructions, or are they fairly out in the open? Also, what is the best time of year to come, or is there a best time? I'm mostly interested in birds rather than alligators. Thanks, Christal Steele

There are birds behind fences BUT, I traveled at the beginning of may, and there were THOUSANDS of nesting birds, out in the open, in accessible canopies and trees, free, and easily available to any lens, from arms' length away to high in the tree topes. The PERFECT time to see sea birds nesting and fledging.
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park is open every day from 9 am-5 pm. We offer extended hours in the summer months, when we welcome visitors...
